Steve CromSteve E. Crom received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and management with honors from Beloit College. He studied international economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Marketing.
Steve works with leaders on their personal, leadership team and business strategies for success. Working one-on-one with General Managers, Mr. Crom helps them develop personal road maps for leading change. With senior management groups, he helps create and communicate a compelling vision of what the client organization can become, building an effective leadership team around strategies for breakthrough improvement.
Mr. Crom has thirty years of experience in helping clients achieve sustainable results, most often measured by top-line growth through innovation, reduced costs of poor quality and improved productivity. His forte is effective collaboration: within a global function, across a matrix organization and between partnering companies. He has consulted to Zurich Financial Services, General Electric Capital, Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, Lonza, Novartis, Nycomed and Airbus to name a few.
Steve is the author of over thirty publications including “Re-engineering, Starting With a Dirty Sheet of Paper” which argues that those involved in today’s processes can and must simultaneously redesign them to get breakthrough results and learn new behaviors, essential for Operational Excellence and Innovation. An American national who lived for 17 years in Europe, Mr. Crom is fluent in English, French and German.
