UN General Assembly
Women and men from around the world gathered Monday, September 19, 2011 at the 82 Mercer event space in New York City for the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood’s Wake Up Call for the Women and Newborn of the World Breakfast. Hosted by WRA Global Patron Sarah Brown and supporters Arianna Huffington and Donna Karan, the event kicked off an important week of global conversations including the annual gatherings of the UN General Assembly and the Clinton Global Initiative.
