Faridah has worked with WRA since March 2014, when she began as WRA Uganda's Communications Officer. In 2016, Faridah added to her role within WRA by becoming the organization's National Alliance Communication Manager.
Prior to her time at White Ribbon Alliance, Faridah was an independent media consultant where she managed media and public relations for various clients. Faridah also spent time as a journalist with the Daily Monitor newspaper where she served as health editor, the acting editor of Full Woman Magazine and editor of Rainbow Magazine.
Faridah has a Bachelor of Mass Communication degree and a Master of Business of Administration from Makerere University, where she also served as Fellow with the MakSPH-CDC HIV/AIDS Fellowship Programme at their School of Public Health. As a fellow, Faridah was hosted by Communication for Development Foundation Uganda where she was the to-go-to person on communication-related matters.
