Women and girls around the world face abuse and disrespect from the healthcare community. This ends now.

We asked women what they most want from their healthcare. Respect and dignity topped the list. Our dedicated respect and dignity campaign provides women, families, and allies with tools and support to change attitudes and hold providers and health systems accountable.

Respect Video Contest

More than 40 creators participated in the contest, creating videos about what respect means to them.


White Ribbon Alliance convenes the Global Respectful Maternity Care Council – a community of 450 researchers, practitioners, advocates, policymakers, and programmers. Together, we support women, birthing people, newborns and providers with tools to make respectful care a reality.
