White Ribbon Alliance Nigeria (WRA Nigeria) works to ensure that all women and girls realize their right to quality health and well-being through increased provision and utilization of reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health services as well as the institutionalization of citizen participation in policy formation that are informed by women’s and girls’ needs. WRA Nigeria operates primarily at the national level, with current intensive efforts in Niger State, while continuing to expand membership throughout the country. Day-to-day functions of WRA Nigeria are carried out by a committed and passionate group of key staff and volunteers who, together, form the Secretariat. The Secretariat aims to convene partners, mobilize resources, build momentum and capacity for the movement, and execute the operational functions of the organization. WRA Nigeria is a registered national organization.
